My role as an educator is to guide in the acquisition of knowledge, inspire critical analyses, facilitate community involvement, and engender interest and enthusiasm for science and science-based careers. My goal is to produce students who have the tools and capacity to understand and meet their obligations to themselves, their discipline and the broader community.
