Science isn’t just something you learn; it is something you do. Under my advisement, my students design and implement their own research studies (including literature reviews and research proposals). Not only do these projects prepare them to be independent and productive student-scientists but they also provide the skill set necessary to apply critical thought to any endeavor they may undertake.
